"Hope is not found in a way out but a way through" by Robert Frost. For those of us that struggle with our mental wellness, the concept of Hope can feel unattainable.

When you join me as a client in my practice, we develop our therapeutic relationship built on the Trauma Informed Care principles of Safety, Trust, Empowerment, and Collaboration. Together we move through the struggles & instill a new sense of Hope.

I specialize in using brain-based approaches to identify & reduce stressors, incorporate safety & self-care plans, & teach cognitive-behavioral techniques to help manage stress, anxiety, depression, & other concerns.

I have over 30 years of experience in child / adolescent mental health, higher education, behavioral health administration including forensics.

Please call me for a free phone consultation.

Individual Therapy is a joint therapeutic process between an individual and a counselor. Common goals of therapy can be to inspire change or improve quality of life. People may seek therapy for help with issues that are hard to face alone. Sessions are offered via Telehealth (for Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania residents only) or in-person at my office.  Evening and weekend appointments are available.

Group Therapy allows individuals to receive the support and encouragement of the other group members. Knowing that others are going through the same experience(s) can be comforting and may help members feel less alone. The following groups are offered: Wellness and Self Care for First Responders and Wellness and Self Care for Social Workers and Therapists.

Family Therapy can help repair any broken relationships the members may have with each other. Benefits of Family Therapy are improved family communication, healthier personal and behavioral boundaries, improved problem-solving, increased empathy, a deeper level of family trust, healthier family patterns and dynamics, reduced overall family conflict, better anger management skills for the entire family, and improved mental wellness for all.
