🕊️ Honoring Memorial Day 🕊️


Today, we pause to remember the brave individuals who gave their lives in service to our country. Memorial Day is a time of reflection, gratitude—and for many—grief.


As a therapist, I know this day can bring a mix of emotions. You may feel pride, sorrow, confusion, or even survivor’s guilt. All of these feelings are valid.


💬 If today is heavy for you, know this:

   •   You are allowed to grieve.

   •   You are allowed to feel joy and gratitude too.

   •   You are not alone in carrying the emotional weight of remembrance.


Whether you’re honoring a loved one, supporting someone who is, or simply feeling the collective heaviness of the day—be gentle with yourself.


🧠 Take moments for stillness.

💗 Connect with others.

🌿 Find grounding in your breath or in nature.

🕯️ Light a candle or create a small ritual to honor those who are no longer with us.


Healing and remembrance can coexist. Let today be a space for both.
