ššToday is World Suicide Prevention Day š©µš
This day reminds us that every life matters, and every person has a role in preventing suicide. Together, we can build a culture of care, connection, and resilience. šŖāØ
Here are some ways we can all increase wellness and strengthen resiliency:
š± Prioritize self-care- rest, nutrition, movement, and time for joy.
š¤ Strengthen connections-reach out to friends, family, or community. Genuine connection reduces isolation.
š§ Practice stress, journaling, breathing techniques, or therapy.
š¬ Talk openly- normalize conversations around mental health and reduce stigma.
š Offer support- if someone seems overwhelmed, listen with compassion and remind them they are not alone.
š” Create safe environments- encourage help seeking and share resources.
⨠Prevention starts with hope, empathy, and action. By caring for ourselves and each other, we can help save lives.
š If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out. In the U.S., dial 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. You are never alone.
